The current version of the Smarty Jr will not allow you to delete the DPF. A few years back Mads Electronics the makers of the Smarty had there "M.E." version, which stood for Middle East. These had DPF delete capability. Stricter federal mandates and pressure from the EPA forced Mads Electronics to start another company called RaceME. The short answer is, yes. Doing a DPF delete will void your warranty. The long and more realistic answer is, it depends. It really is a case by case basis and comes down to the dealer your working with.
